Leadership Dispute Reportedly Erupts at the NRA

According to new reports from the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, National Rifle Association CEO and Executive Vice President Wayne La Pierre has said he is being pressured to resign by NRA President Oliver North. LaPierre has been the public face of the NRA for decades.
Earlier this week, Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund unveiled a new report on the “NRA in Crisis,” following a recent New Yorker/The Trace investigation, which uncovered questionable financial transactions involving NRA insiders and the NRA’s longtime media contractor, Ackerman McQueen.
