This early-April 2018 email chain, which was part of an appendix that Ackerman McQueen submitted with its motion to disqualify attorney Bill Brewer, discusses the NRA’s response to a media inquiry from Politico about Citigroup changing its policies around certain firearms sales.  The NRA’s public affairs consultant, Travis Carter from Brewer Attorneys & Counselors, responds with a draft statement and indicates “we believe this is an opportunity not only on Citigroup, but to address the broader efforts of those (such as Everytown) who are now calling on the entire financial services industry to take action?”
